Projects in the Works
Music at Large
Finding a home for Music at Large, as a performing ensemble, to regularly present its unique mixtures of music, poetry, and people.
Bringing the Grencscó Open Collective to the San Francisco Bay Area and/or elsewhere in the States as a Music at Large production.
Re-presenting two earlier Music at Large productions:
Perfecting the Moment: a cross-disciplinary look at improvisation (first presented at the Headlands Center for the Arts, Sausalito, CA in 2000). An ensemble of pioneering improvisers delivering an unscripted blend of performance and discussion infused with a high degree of invention, spontaneity and audience participation.
A four-part interdisciplinary series (first presented at the Noh Space in San Francisco in 1999). Each part features improvised music with another specific discipline: poetry; dance; theater; visual art.
